Experience the exhilaration of silent flight
Soaring is an exciting and rewarding sport for all, ages 10 to 85, male and female. Flying in gliders is nothing like flying in commercial airliners. When gliding, you are part of your surroundings, actively using thermals and ridges to stay aloft. It's "seat of the pants" flying, like that enjoyed by military pilots and pioneer aviators.

Soaring may lead to a new relationship with the sky and can easily turn into a love affair, an affair that could last the rest of your life. Even people who try gliding merely for a new experience or a holiday may find that their relationship with the sky changes. While others may happily ignore the spectacle above their heads, those who have experienced the joy of soaring may find themselves regularly walking into lamp posts.

Flights are provided in a modern, two-seat sailplane flown by FAA-certificated commercial pilots. Flights are available by appointment only. They may be scheduled on weekends. If it is necessary to cancel the flight because of poor weather conditions it will be rescheduled at a later date. Due to weight limitations of the glider, we are unable to accommodate passengers over 242 lbs.

Our discovery rides cost $150.00, and typically last around 20 -25 minutes.
